"The house was very roomy and the property was amazing. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our stay here was very relaxing. My grandson (8 yrs old) loved seeing all the fish, turtles and tadpoles in the river. We also saw deer and wild turkeys. There is also a nice nature trail on the property. We had several questions for the host and he answered all of them promptly. Communication was excellent!"

"Wonderful large open home in the country with a beautiful view. Perfect for a large family. Very large fenced yard front and back. Don’t have to worry about the little ones roaming off! An unexpected bonus was arrowhead hunting. There is flint everywhere. Definitely would book again!"

"Pros: very nice inside, plenty’s of dishes and pots/pans. Cons: never received instructions on check in, reading septic system, dog food kept under kitchen cabinet (we had no pets), dog/ cat hair on couch and bunk bed, difficult to put out Murphy bed and need more kitchen towels (only had 2) and toilet I. Master bath clogged and no plunger,"

"Perfect location for our son's wedding in CenterPoint, TX. Plenty of room for family, friends, and grooms' men to gather prior to the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. You must eat at Toucan Jim's. Food and atmosphere are fantastic especially the fish tacos and the fried shrimp. One of the best places we hace every stayed!"

"This stay was amazing. So quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting outside in the cool hill country weather. Loved that there are cows with new calves running around. Also enjoyed the morning wake up by the rooster on property. This property was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone."

"We loved the little one room farm house as it was the perfect size for my husband and I. The location was just one block from 11th street bar and a couple of blocks from Main Street so that was great bc we were able to walk everywhere. My bigggest complaint was NO WIFI! We could not watch any TV in our down time nor could I log on from my computer or phone. It shows there is WiFi but the TV would just spin and spin “thinking mode” and would never go farther than that. It was say it couldn’t...

"Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. "Quiet and peaceful. Amazing night sky with the sound of the river and croaking frogs. Leaky has some great little restaurants. Bent Rim Grill and Gypsy Sally's were great. State parks nearby with good hiking, especially Lost Maples"
