"When I made the reservation, we were excited about the stay because the cabins looked great. The description is very vague about the cabin’s set up. We got to the cabin and realized that ours (the basic) did not have a bathroom in the cabin. It has 2 full size beds, a small dorm fridge, bed side table, and a small bench like table. There was a community bathroom up the road from our cabin. They were clean, but we were not prepared at all for that set up. Especially when our teenage son ended...

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Overall the cabin is excellent but the cleanliness is lacking. Both toilets had to be cleaned before we could use them. There are cobwebs all over pics and ceiling, ceiling fans haven't been dusted.To be honest - we had a great time and will be back. Just wish it was a bit cleaner."
