"The house was fantastic, well kept and clean. It was spacious for my family of 4. The location is quiet and within a walking distance from the main street. It is better to rent a car of course, and there is a private parking. The owner is very responsive and it was a wonderful stay. "

"Cottage was clean and well presented with lots of extra touches. Netflix was a bonus! Unfortunately the management company let down the whole experience. Security deposit required prior to releasing check in information, and we emailed them when we found a mouse in the property but they failed to respond. Also the cleaner was waiting for us to leave which wasn’t great! Parking is limited but luckily we found a space on arrival. Dog friendly but be aware no enclosed yard and dogs are not...

"The property is in a great location for exploring the Dales, cities like Derby and places like Chatsworth. Matlock is a lovely town and property is spacious with good facilities. We were 5 adults and felt like we had our own space and space to be together. Multiple streaming was a bit problematical but for general use was absolutely fine. We would definitely stay again and 1 week was not enough to do all there is to do in the area."

"We loved this super little cottage, the putting green outside was a pleasant surprise, all finished to a super standard. Nice to have supplied tea / coffee, milk and butter - would be nice to have had a nice local fresh loaf to go with the butter... just a thought! Also would be nice to include some board games, pack of cards for evening entertainment. Overall Lynda was so welcoming and we will be back as we have found a nice haven in the Peaks."

"Clean and well appointed, good location as centre for walking with shops in nearby Matlock. No windows so ventilation only via door at each end. Roof_light blinds in bedroom difficult to shut so early awakening in mid summer."

"Nnot what i would consider suitable for dogs to stay there. There was not a gate on the garden and two exits near the back door. There was a (approx) 60cm high wall into a rear garden that did not belong to the property. We had to be in the garden all the time the dog was out there to keep her safe instead of being able to go in and out when she wanted."
