The house is in an excellent location and within walking distance of all Buxton has to offer. "The house was lovely - a good size, well furnished and nice and warm. The floorboards are a bit creaky, especially on the stairs, and occasionally a long train would pass the property but it wasn't too noisy. The house is very close to the town centre and local supermarkets are either a short walk or short drive. It's relatively easy to get to by car and good links to the roads out of town for exploring, and only a 10min walk to the train station. Ben was a good host, giving clear check in...

"We had four adults stay for ten days and a fifth join us for three nights. It was an incredible experience all around. My husband was directing a show for the Gilbert and Sullivan festival and several of our housemates were in the show. They felt like they were living in luxury! To top it off, the walk into town (and to their rehearsals) were a treat, cutting through the park and enjoying all the scenes. If you want an attentive host, Angela is it! "The house was spacious, clean, modern and well appointed. We really liked the location, it's walkable to the town centre, park, caves and Go Ape. "

"The property is comfortable and the upstairs area spacious. The open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area make it ideal for socialising. The downstairs bedrooms is somewhat cramped with little storage space. However, this was not so important for us as we were only staying 3 nights. Lucy the owner was very welcoming and accommodating- allowing us to arrive early and depart later then the designated times."
