"There were positives about this property but also some negatives. The house was warm, we enjoyed the wood burner, the beds comfy and the shower good. It was superficially clean but not really clean (the kitchen floor was grimy, so too all the edges and corners of the rooms), the nearby road was noisy with the bedroom window open at night and the house lacked some basics (no mop for said kitchen floor, no tea towels or dish cloths which we ended up buying just for the stay). It lacked the extras...

"This property had a few faults, no back door key which we where not told about. Internet not working, chair broken. Kitchen was dirty. When we asked the owner about internet did not get very far as we messaged and did not get a reply."

"The Gun Room was very nicely kitted out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was very comfortable and bright. One thing I would say is that the sofa is very small and not very comfortable! There is however a TV in the bedroom for lounging. The outside space is lovely and we had some great weather to enjoy it. We had our dog with us so the garden was great but the road was very busy so for a longer walk we had to go in the car. "

"We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

"Lovely weekend away. The house was clean and tidy with everything you could need for a family visit. "

Lounge and watch Netflix using our Smart TV. The sofa bed can also be set up as an additional sleeping area upon request.

"Everything went well. Check in was tedious due to no information regarding check in until a few hours before arrival. The images provided a larger interior than what was realistic. Cleanliness was lacking, bathrooms and bedrooms were slightly dirty but acceptable, trash was left by previous tenants. Backyard had trash and clothes from previous tenants scattered around. Dishwasher was broken, and the washer/dryer combo was inaccurate. Just a washing machine. "

"My favorite thing about this property is the lake. It was absolutely beautiful. It was easy to get and is is a beautiful new estate. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall, my children and I loved it. "

"The house was nice - not as big as it looks in the pictures but these are an accurate reflection of the place overall. It’s well-located and very quiet although a map would have been very helpful. Check-in and engagement was good but we did have to wait a while for a response to a (minor) pre-arrival query. The property was generally clean and very tidy. I have extremely high expectations and there were a few small aspects that disappointed - some crumbs on the kitchen counter; a tissue...

Bedroom 2: have a restful nights sleep in the king-sized bed complete with fresh linens.

"This is spacious home from home, well equipped and clean. There was excellent communication with the owner who was very helpful. Toys and stairgate were provided for our toddler and the garden was great for outdoor play. We stayed only for 2 nights whilst in the area for a wedding, so cannot really comment on the surrounding area but it seemed very nice from the little we saw. Would not hesitate to recommend"
