"Beautiful ocean views from the room with private patio. Loved cooling off in the infinity pool with the swim up bar while enjoying incredible views. We arrived very early so had breakfast at the restaurant while the hotel put a rush on our rooms. We very much appreciated the early check in plus the bottle of wine left in the room for us. This hotel is perched up on the hill away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tamarindo but an easy shuttle ride from the hotel to all of the restaurants, shopping and beach. We will be back. Thank you for going out of your way to accommodate us and for making our stay a memorable one!"

"The room was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Although the toilet ran water all night and my key for the door was very finicky! And there was no one at the desk to help with either of these issues. I was also annoyed at the bar across the street that was very loud till 2am. "

"Hotel Mar Rey is in a great location. Close to beach, restaurants and bars and shopping. The pool and surroundings are beautiful. Hacienda style. The ranch kitchen by the pool was great. You could buy groceries and cook them on site. Andrey and staff were extremely helpful. "

Kitchen is the best in Nosara thanks to a top chef. Service across the board from landscaping to serving to management are committed professionals. So rare, so nice. It's up in the hills away from noise but within easy reach to the beach thanks to the shuttle. "
