"The hotel is lovely & check-in was very smooth. We did not realise, however, the hotel was closing on the Sunday & although we can appreciate staff looking forward to their holidays, service was quite lax (not unpleasant, just staff were mainly absent, something unexpected from a 5 Star hotel, where in every other area, they excelled) - this was both in the bar, in the restaurant; breakfast service, however, was excellent I do believe if we had known the hotel was closing, we would have changed...

"We have mixed feelings regarding our stay at Pension Aduar. We had a 1 hour delay before our rooms were ready. When we walked into the room you could smell cigarette smoke and as a result our clothes, over a period of time, smelt of smoke. We used air freshners etc to get rid of the smell. We recognise that it is difficult for the hostal to stop people smoking in the room. There are plenty of no smoking signs around the hostal. Steps from the boardwalk and beach. Countless cafes within a 5 minute walk, Old Town only 10-15 min away. An easy Uber to and from the bus station. About $7 each way. I will most certainly be back. "
