"This house is absolutely the most unique property I have found in the Rochester area. The property is spacious, immaculate, centrally-located and has so much character. "We had an eye surgery scheduled at the mayo clinic for my 11 month old granddaughter we wanted someplace that would be comfortable and close to downtown Rochester Mary and Ivan cottage fit the bill perfectly. "Stayed 3 weeks. It was wonderful. Especially liked the trails for hiking with our dog. It was close to Rochester and Stewartville had a nice grocery called Fareway. Also had a good place for pizza called 2 Brothers. My son liked the proximity to Anytime Fitness too."

"Another Bonus—2 full bathrooms. Never underestimate the convenience that presents when everyone is trying to get ready in the morning. We immensely enjoyed our 5 day stay here. The house was clean and spacious. The back yard was fenced for our dog. And overall, we felt safe in this neighborhood. We come every year to the Mayo Clinic, and this home was the best place we have ever stayed."

"We enjoyed our stay. We were in Rochester for a family reunion, so spent a lot of time away from this house. We have a couple of safety issues that should be addressed. First is a railing of some kind at the entrance. My husband and I are both in our 80s and could have felt safer with a railing to help us enter and exit the house. The other issue was there no safety bars in the tub/shower in the upstairs bathroom. "

"Denis was extremely accommodating to our needs & let us check into the house a day earlier than scheduled! The house was very clean & there was plenty of coffee available! We had our pup, Loki, so having the fenced backyard & a covered patio was a plus! Across the street is a playground & two tennis courts & grocery stores are nearby! If our daughter was not moving we’d stay there again!"

"The location was great for my heart procedure at St. Mary's, so convenient. the kitchen was also helpful for meals and the house was really comfortable. We're seniors so we did use the rubber bath mat in the tub for showers to be on the safe side. Having the laundry was a plus for us. It was close to a great family restaurant across the street from St. Mary's. Jessica was so kind when we needed a later check out on the day I was released from the hospital. It is a good place to stay for sure."
