"Our recent stay at Discovery in the Philippines was truly unforgettable as we celebrated both my spouse’s and my birthday. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s professionalism and warmth made us feel genuinely welcomed. They went above and beyond to make our special occasion memorable by decorating our bed with “Happy Birthday” banners, towel cakes, and balloons. Additionally, we were delighted to receive delicious chocolate birthday cakes and small flower bouquets, adding an extra touch of thoughtfulness to our celebration. We booked two Executive King Suites, and we were impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. Each suite included a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, dining area, and a cozy living room with a writing desk—perfect for both relaxation and productivity. The bedroom featured a comfortable king-size bed, and the bathroom was beautifully designed with a separate tub, shower, and water closet. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the pool and the stunning Makati skyline. One of the highlights of our stay was the infinity pool, which offered a picturesque view of Makati’s skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the city’s beauty. We also indulged in four massage appointments at the spa, which turned out to be an incredibly relaxing experience. The ambiance of the spa was soothing, and the massages were rejuvenating—exactly what we needed to enhance our stay. We will definitely recommend this hotel. "

"I have been staying at this hotel for both business and pleasure since 2010. It always feels special to stay at the hotel. The Greenbelt mall across the street has many nice restaurants. It is also easy to get to and from the airport."

"Staying at this iconic hotel was a truly great experience. We encountered a couple of issues initially which were quickly resolved by the wonderful staff. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. We dined twice at the restaurant Spices which served delicious fare and once in the lobby which was similarly tasty. The spa is on the smaller side but we both thoroughly enjoyed our treatments by highly skilled members of staff. One thing to single out is the fantastic live music played daily. Martin Avila is a highly accomplished pianist whose talent is finer than any other pianist I’ve heard around the world in a hotel setting. We stayed in one of the Executive Suites on the 11th floor for four nights. It was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Some of the furniture, however, is a little old and could benefit from some attention or replacing. This is not to take away from our overall experience because we were 100% satisfied with our stay. We’re delighted we chose The Peninsula for our trip to Makati having stayed in other hotels here in the past. "
