"We were at the Westin Hapuna Bech for our 50th anniversary. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. I had hurt my foot before the trip and they lent us a wheelchair to get to the pool area and restaurant. They also moved us to an ADA room closer to the elevator when one became available the second day. Our seven night stay was fun and we highly recommend this hotel."

The country lodge had everything I needed for my 5 day stay and was within driving distance to all the places we went to!"

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"We have been to the Big Island many times and staying Waipio Gardens was one of the best trips we've ever had there. It is a beautiful property that provided serenity, great hiking and amazing beach time. The house is nestled in the jungle in the valley with gorgeous plants, fruit trees, lots of birds and even wild horses. We picked and enjoyed fresh oranges, grapefruit and papaya. The hosts, Sukumar and Kristi, were very helpful in the planning of the trip as well as ferrying us to and from the house. Getting there was indeed part of the adventure and this location provides the opportunity to experience a part of the island that most will never get to see. Would highly recommend!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and straightforward. We had a couple of very minor concerns and maintenance was there first thing the next morning (what incredible service!). The house was lovely and everything we were looking for. Two of my family members are extremely allergic to cats. The listing didn't mention cats at the time of our booking - however, that has been changed. The owner did communicate that there was a feral cat near the home before we arrived. However, we didn't know the cats lived so close to the house. The feeder is right at the back door. At the time of our stay, there were three cats living there and they all spent significant time on the outdoor furniture. Because of allergies, we were unable to fully enjoy the outdoor space (which is truly one of the very best parts of the home). I would caution anyone with pet allergies. Otherwise, this is a truly delightful home! "
