"Our stay at Catrinka’s hale was stunning. Every morning I couldn’t believe the breeze coming through, and the views and sounds of nature out every window. It’s a quick drive to Waimea coffee company or Hapuna beach! There were many useful odds and ends as far as kitchen, toiletry, and beach items. Tape and scissors! We swapped pillows for the ones in the closet that were more like ours at home. Any time I needed something I was able to find it, if I wasn’t I knew Catrinka was a phone call away....

Located on the sloping plane between Waimea and the coast, you'll be minutes away from civilization yet out on the open ranching grasslands with a spectacular view of the water... Check-in couldn't have been easier, Yumi was swift to respond to any communications, and the building itself is one-of-a-kind. I'd definitely go back."

"Staying in the Waipio Valley is a magical experience and Kristi and Sukumar's cottage is the perfect place to do it. We used the small kitchenette to cook meals each night, hiked, did trail runs, walked to the black sand beach and viewed the epic waterfalls. It was incredible and we can't wait to come back."

"We were looking at the Waipio Valley cliffs and ocean right in the bed! The view is better than the Outlook site which is half mile away. The scene is changing all the time, sunshine, hovering clouds, overcast, rain, and rainbow of all kinds, like one coming right out of the valley half mile away while the orchard is sunny and the cliffs under overcast. "Location is in a very peaceful area with amazing views of the ocean, coastline and Mauna Kea. You need to figure out food options as it is remote but there was plenty of coffee and tea options in the room. A ceiling would be a benefit but the standing fan and air conditioner eventually cooled the room. The owners were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommended."
