It has access to the beaches in the area, it’s a residential area with quiet street and neighborhood and the cottage has anything you can think of already there, from TV to super comfortable king bed in the master bedroom and lots of pillows to choose from. There are paper supplies, lots of sheets and towels, a new washer and dryer, spices and small appliances, shampoo and sunscreen. Plus it’s close to shopping areas and...

"Overall a great place. It was a great location, with lots of piblic access to the water across the street. There are no great swimming beaches walking distance but we saw turtles. It has a pool but its quite small and not cleaned when we got there. The condo faces the general store where there are delivery trucks and other goings on at various hours including early morning."

"Property is amazing with lots of space for both sleeping and entertaining. The pool and outside space is great, and the management company was very easy to deal with. Like others mentioned, there is some noise from the road nearby but that didn't bother us. The location is a little far north of the downtown Kona/Kailua area, but easy access via the highway. You need to figure out food options as it is remote but there was plenty of coffee and tea options in the room. A ceiling would be a benefit but the standing fan and air conditioner eventually cooled the room. The owners were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommended."

"This place is terrific! Nice outdoor dining and seating areas, very clean, kitchenette is a nice touch. Rooms were very pretty and spacious. What lovely surprise! Waimea is a fun little town and gave us a different area to explore. Highly recommended."

Restful Oasis!

"The Ohana Hale is wonderful! A great place to relax and enjoy nature (lots of birds!) House is very private and peaceful, beautifully decorated, great views from the back lanai. Good communication with clear instructions on how to get there, get in, what to do, etc. The house was very clean, well equipped kitchen and comfy couches. There are 2 bedrooms but we only used the master suite. The bed was very comfortable, great closet and bathroom area. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. House has great AC and ceiling fans. Beach access is a short walk across the road. There are also great travel books available and a very informative binder with restaurant suggestions. Would definitely love to stay here again and can see why so people have done so!!"
