"Excellent hotel and very friendly staff"

"This hotel is really nice, clean, comfortable and in a good location for Stafford University. We loved the pool as it was very clean and warm. The restaurant was nice, big portions ( we probably would prefer smaller portion and price but aren’t complaining). Breakfast was fab with everything you could ask for. Only thing I would change is automatic gratuity- we aren’t in America and I will always remove and give direct to the staff. "

"Our second stay at The Moat House, the staff are wonderful, the rooms are spacious, the are dog friendly. The decor is sympathetic to the period building. A couple of negatives, despite asking for advice I couldn’t get the room warm enough during the night. The hotel is popular for wedding/ birthday events, unfortunately some other residents aren’t as considerate, who let their children run and down the corridor at 1am. That’s not the hotel’s fault but it did mean we didn’t sleep too well. Fortunately the excellent breakfast and service helped to make up it "

"The bed was so comfortable we had the best nights sleep for a long time. The hotel and grounds were excellent. Very dog friendly. Will definitely be using them again. "
