"Our family of 5 spent 4 nights at Stoney Shores. We enjoyed the open concept kitchen, dining and living room, where we spent all of our time together either making food, watching movies, cuddling by the fire or working on hobbies on the large butcher block counter. We ventured down to the water and outside at night to watch for shooting stars. All communications were quickly replied to and always helpful. The location was nice to be near many state parks as well. We hope to be back some day!"

"It worked great for our family. The number of beds, bathrooms and 2 family rooms allowed us to gather together and also have a place to get away if needed. The only problem was due to lack of snow. One of our main reasons for choosing the location was because it stated it was ski in ski out which it is, kind of. If you have younger beginning skiers it didn’t work out. "

"I wanted to spend part of our family's Christmas vacation on the North Shore. Grand Marais is my favorite town, especially in the Fall/Winter when things slowed down. Beautiful views of Lake Superior and also across the street from the North House Folk School "

"This was our second stay at this cozy townhome. It is perfect for sleeping our 3 generations, everyone has their own space and the gathering area keeps us connected for eating and playing games etc. Being able to ski in/out is a huge plus. "We had an amazing week at this very special cabin. It was the perfect blend of North Shore old school cabin but with every comfort you could wish for. The beds were incredibly soft and the huge fireplace was so cozy each evening. The very best part was the HUGE windows that gave you an amazing shore view of waves crashing on the rocks! You can even explore the rocky shore as it is part of the property. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was!"
