"The hotel is quaint, Old Florida style on a private marina. Very cute outdoor sitting areas. Continental breakfast is basic. Rooms are Very small - very grateful to have been upgraded to waterfront with a shared balcony and chairs. The hotel is non-smoking. It is too bad guests don't adhere to the rules and thus annoy other guests by smoking wherever they choose. Front desk was receptive and offered to change our room. Luckily were informed the smokers were checking out that morning so we didn't...

"Valet never asked or offered assistance with...#1 our bags, #2 opening or closing the automobile door for the Mrs.. I know this sounds trivial, but little things like this will set you apart from others and set you on a higher level of customer service. "

"This property has a very nice pool area for children with slides and a lazy river. The day we went it was a little chilly and they ran out of towels! The hotel itself is a little tired and needs and update. Dinner options are either outside or the lobby. I thought the breakfast was quite nice in a separate room in the back of the hotel. Staff is very nice, but the lobby servers lacked that extra service expected at the Ritz Carlton. "

"Excellent location, great views from 15th floor. However, initial reception was not the best. I requested early check-in and was completely dismissed. Customer service and a warm reception could be greatly improved. I saw other guests able to check in earlier and reception varied by staff member."
