"The property is on Great Ocean Road in the heart of the Lorne beachfront. It has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean. Surprisingly, it is quiet after 9:30 p.m. in January—a very family-friendly area. The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was spacious, with added touches of silverware and real wine glasses. The finishings were a little tired but it did not detract from the comfort of our stay. "

"This place isn't the Hilton BUT it is a great, honest, clean and convenient place for anyone looking to stay. The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne. "Not as nice as the price and description led us to believe. Breakfast was okay, good croissant cut otherwise a bit ordinary. The room was fresh and clean but lacked in storage space so if one was staying more than a day, there was no drawer space for one to unpack. Poor water pressure in the shower. Hosts are very pleasant/amenable! Would not stay there again for the price. "
