This is a nice base to use when exploring the area. The beach is easily accessed, the indoor pool is good, though a bit warm if you are swimming for exercise, and it is in close proximity to 'restaurant row' in Lorne. The building seems to be well maintained, though is a bit dated. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is ok. Overall, a good choice for travellers staying in the area for a few days.

The stay was lovely - our family had a great time. Just a few things to improve the experience; the staff was polite but not always attentive. We had to remind a few times for things like towels. The breakfast was good though we only had one day where Pork wasn’t on the menu. Would be good for some Halal / non-pork options. Lots of wildlife but that meant lots of duck and bird poop everywhere.

The buffet and facilities are excellent, but the apartment room could benefit from upgrades and maintenance. Many features, such as the kitchen appliances and toilet, feel outdated and worn. I loved the Heritage Buildings. The modern apartments need updating. Shower over bath difficult, bedroom curtains didn’t close properly, furniture was uncomfortable. There should be more privacy on the upper terraces. Other apartments can see right in your lounge.

Check in was so slow,,,, got keys half an hour late..... the room was not clean properly .... carpet was extremely dirty .... when we lift the sofa to make it a bed , it was full of popcorn.... the floors were dirty. It was just an average hotel.
