"We absolutely loved the Strand Palace! We had an issue with our flight into London and ended up arriving a day late, but the staff were understanding, responsive, and helped us extend our stay an extra day with ease. We had a room facing the Strand and loved the location and didn’t find the location noisier than any other city. We loved how close the hotel is to both the tube and bus routes and the location near Covent Garden was a huge plus. Haxell’s was fantastic too and we loved the personal touches, like a heart balloon to celebrate our dating anniversary, chocolates, truffles, and the best reusable “London” water bottles. We hope to be back the next time we’re in London! "

"The hotel was really nice but i think the little extras would make a big difference - we didnt have any complimentary water,biscuits,shower cap or cotton wool - the hotel breakfast was okay but the orange juice wasnt fresh but tasted like it was powdered "
