"The apartment was dated but clean, quite cold even with the heaters, the 2nd bedroom heater didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t working and one half of the recliner sofa didn’t recline. Overall a lovely stay and the issues didn’t affect our holiday as we were only there for a few days but when I tried to contact someone regarding the issues I go no response which was disappointing."

The owner messaged before arriving for stay, to say there was an issue with hot tub, and he was arranging someone to look at it. "The description of the flat is inaccurate. The private fenced garden is a concrete balcony covered in fake grass, accessed from the bedroom, not the lounge as stated. The mattress is simply worn out, badly stained and needs immediate replacement. Neither mattress nor pillows had protectors on them, a basic hygiene measure. The hallway, which has no natural light, had 1 light fitting not working, the other simply a bare lightbulb. The owner offered to bring a lamp but in a narrow passageway this...

"Lovely apartment in a great location right next to the shops and beach. Easy check in, thanks to Vic and Mary. Barmouth is a great place to stay with plenty of places to eat. Would recommend the Mermaid chip shop next door to the apartment and the Royal is a great pub to visit. The slate mines at Llanfair are well worth a visit as is Porthmadog by train.
