"We booked this hotel as it is in a central location to easily access Eryri National Park. The hotel was modern, clean with a great restaurant. The restaurant has a lot of choice for different tastes. There is no need to eat dinner elsewhere. The staff are all very friendly and polite. We booked a deluxe room, which was comfortable. However, the King bed was too firm. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. We would definitely return back to this hotel. "

"A great hotel with an excellent breakfast, it's the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the mountains/nature in the area. The bar and restaurant below are great as well especially in winter. The room was very clean, quiet and well stocked. Great staff too, would definitely book this hotel again next time we visit the area. "

"I have stayed at the Royal Victoria Hotel on a few previous occasions over the past 15 years. I was really looking forward to returning - and as soon as I walked in I felt good about being back. And I wasn't let down in my expectations- the check in was pleasant and easy and when we got to the room we we were really impressed with the space and mountain view (first time I had tried the 'executive' room option - it was worth it) We dined at the bar restaurant that evening and the food was good, and again the staff very pleasant. Breakfast next day was busy as a coach load of departing guest seemed to be bustling to eat up quickly - but even so, the staff did a good job of keeping everyone happy and served on time. We stayed at breakfast a bit longer and enjoyed a slower breakfast and thought the food was very nice - especially the quality of the bread. We chatted to the staff a bit too - who were all very friendly. In all - I consider that for the very fair price asked for a nights stay, that the hotel provides a really very pleasant experience for staying in the area. Absolutely would plan to return some day."
