"Centrally located and within walking distance to town (an easy walk downhill to town, with a bit of a climb back to the apartment). We were very pleased with the clean kitchen, bedding, and bathroom. While the kitchen chairs showed some wear, they were still functional, and the futon/couch has a well-loved feel. There was a slight smell of marijuana when we arrived, which could have been from a nearby unit. Overall, we had a great stay!"

"We were up for the Ore to Shore mountain bike race and this was the perfect spot for two couples. Enough room for the four of us to hang out plus had all of the accommodations needed to cook a pre-race meal. Proximity is prime as it's walking distance to everything downtown. If we do the race again (or are ever just in the area...), we'll be back!"

"Great location in Marquette, close to everything. The only critique would be the room with the futon/pullout couch. It was really not a futon that an adult could sleep on, but we made it work. "

"The place was wonderful and reasonably priced but my back hurt. Mattresses are a personal preference thing, so the review is intended to be amazing but if you don't prefer memory foam beds, you may wish to consider a different property. PS. My daughter liked the bed."

"My family stayed at Twin Pines for a long weekend and it was wonderful! The lake is beautiful and Bruno is the best boy! My kids had a great time and loved swimming even though it was not too warm when we were there. We plan on returning next year!"

"Went with family and friends to hike Pictured Rocks trails. Have stayed at sister property in the past and like the location. It is 20 mins from Munising in a very small town with a coop, bar and great ice cream store. Quiet and easy to relax. Owner is very responsive. "

"This apartment is in an old house in a village near Marquette. I’m so glad we stayed there. The town is super cute and the “cowboy coffee shop” is great. The town is near Marquette so no problem getting there quickly. The apartment is very clean and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. I stayed on the couch bed and Dad got the bedroom. Both beds were comfortable. It is an old house and apparently the heat is controlled by the apartment across the hall. The owner was quick...
