"This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"We were there for just a one night stay. Clean and all we needed to crash after a long day! There’s a beautiful view of the lake and a nice yard as well. The owner was a little more chatty than needed but was very kind. No wearing your shoes inside which seemed a little odd as our feet were dirtier than our shoes. Overall a nice place and would definitely recommend!"

Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, and the view was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!"

"Great stay. Was a bit outside of Santa Elena but was very quiet. Very clean and cozy. Didn’t have a washer or dryer but that is about the only complaint. Wasn’t easy to find, but the host did a great job communicating. Very happy overall and would definitely stay there again. "

"This place is a dream. You might think the pictures make it look too good to be true, but honestly the pictures don't even do it justice. The view is beyond breathtaking, the house is immaculate, the owner provided helpful instructions and was super responsive to communications. Truly the stay of a lifetime. "The road was a little challenging but once we drove it once and got to the property it was all worth it. The host Jorge was awesome. He went out of his was to make our stay wonderful and gave is some great recommendations. We enjoy our hike, pool with a slide and hot tub on the property. And they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. What a treat after a long day of travel and exploring CR. We would definitely stay here again."

"Nice little apartment, but needs updating. Windows without screens, poor insulation and was very cold and windy. Lots of noise from main road closeby. Shower was the only place with hot water, an electric low flow shower with marginal flow. "

"Great location and close to a couple nice restaurants and bakery. Nice to have washer and dryer as an option even though there was a limit to 1 load during our stay. Checkin was simple and clear. The condo was nicely decorated with adequate kitchen amenities provided for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our time here and felt the price was very reasonable. We loved trying out the traditional coffee maker with the coffee that was provided as well!"

"Tidy and roomy, but bed was too firm for me and no hot water. It was very difficult for the taxi driver to find the location due to no address, or sign. We finally had to call them for directions. Maria and hubby were very accommodating, but said they couldn't do anything about the lack of hot water until the next day due to needing a part. They acted as taxi drivers to get us to the park and also to La Fortuna, stopping at stores as needed along the way. Super nice! They don't speak English,...
