"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was so spacious. There was room to really spread out and enjoy. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well supplied with anything needed to prepare a meal. The ocean views were outstanding. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. If we come back to the big island, we will definitely stay here again."

"This house was a wonderful place to stay. There was no air-conditioning in this place but it was not needed. The wind coming off the sea was sufficient to cool the house and sometimes at night it was cold. The sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs was the best "white noise" to fall asleep or read your favorite book. The place is stocked with the tools you need to cook with. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. The place is conveniently located close to the Volcano National Park so you can vist the Volcano. We did get to see the eruption during our stay. Several hiking trails beaches located near by. Kona is about two hours away but is worth the drive for the beautiful scenery. Mauna Loa is beautiful. The owners are very nice and are easy to reach if you have questions. Don't feed the chickens! Lol"

"The staff was so friendly. There were lots of animals: peacocks, cats, frogs, geese. We loved it! We booked it to be closer to Volcanoes National Park, without realizing there was no road that cuts across. We had to go amidst to Hilo in order to go back down to the Volcanoes, so it wasn't the most convenient, but we loved the vibe!"

"Had an “erupting”experience. Spent time in National Park and saw quite a fireworks display right from Volcano House overlook Pāhoa met all of our dining needs and Uncle Robert’s was as advertised. Will stay again. "
