As I was waiting outside to check in, there was a walking group from a historical tour who passed by and the leader gave a commentary on the pub. "Really pleased with our overnight stay, had a free upgrade which was lovely, rooms were spotless and fresh looking. Kitchen area had everything you could need. Bathrooms spotless and great water pressure! All staff were very polite and welcoming and it had a good atmosphere. We rebooked parking and it was a very safe place to leave our car.
