"We loved our stay at Wally and Cathy's cabin in Fleetwood. The cabin was the perfect size for us and our two small children. As soon as we entered, we felt right at home with all of the cozy, warm furnishings and wood interior. We loved the location -- good proximity to Hawksnest for snow tubing and even better driving distance to other towns like Boone and West Jefferson. We could not have asked for anything more and will definitely be back!"

"Really fun and beautiful place. The Christmas decor was so thoughtfully placed and you can tell someone put a whole lot of effort making it cozy and beautiful! We didn't need anything. They had extra of everything! We definitely heard the squirrels at night, but we turned on a box fan to drown out the noise and we slept great in the super comfortable beds. Water pressure wasn't the best, and the dishes weren't super clean, but we ran them in the dishwasher and they were fine.Overall a really beautiful and quiet place to stay. Our 3 preteens LOVED it!!! Memories to last a lifetime!"

"What a beautiful property in the perfect setting. Very clean and well appointed throughout. Everything you could need is provided to include a very nice hot-tub, satellite internet, fireplace, and a grill. There are a few neighbors in the area that are not too close to be an issue. Keep in mind that the property is pretty remote so make sure you bring everything you need for the stay or be prepared to drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocery. Also, there are a few stretches of dirt road on the way to the property so watch for those transitions."
