"Bret and his crew were awesome people, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The property is wonderful, we hiked it almost everyday following the many trails and finding plateaus with amazing views of Lake Arenal. Sitting on the patio having a favourite beverage, we listened to howler monkeys, saw white faced monkeys, and many species of birds including parrots and toucans. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend a stay at CRParaiso."

"On the property lives 2 roosters which are very loud (and beautifull). And you have to feed them otherwise they will scream non stop. They start to beg for food around 4 am. Plus there is no hot water in sinks which makes living very uncomfortable (no dishwasher as well). If you want to have a nice shower - forget about it! Showers have electrical warmers and you have to use small water presser to make it work. We got no hot water in both bathrooms when we arrived. Later shower was fixed in...

"This was an absolutely breathtaking place to stay at. A place where you could just spend all day in the house and be totally content. Amazing views! We just spent a lot of time getting rid of little critters and bugs. The host gave a very well detailed message the day we booked this VRBO about the property, which made checking in and finding the house easy. "This place was great. Extremely close to the cloud forest reserve. The property manager went above and beyond. We got a home made breakfast brought to us every morning that was delicious. She arranged adventures for us to partake in nearby and followed up when a shuttle didn't arrive as previously scheduled. We had a wonderful experience at this property and highly recommend booking with Christina and supporting a Costa Rican if you are visiting Monteverde!!! You won't be disappointed."
