"This was one of our favorite hotels as we traveled through Costa Rica. The view from the room was incredible of the Arenal volcano and it was set in the rainforest. We woke up to seeing toucans flying around not far from our balcony. The location was a perfect for all of our activities of La fortuna. We would love to stay here again in the future if in the area. "Our stay at the Sangregado was excellent. It was the first time in Costa Rica for my family of four. I am so happy that our first experience was at the Sangregado. Our villa was clean, safe, and tucked into the jungle. It was convenient to be across the street from Mistico, but at night when the park cleared out, the setting was peaceful and serene. Our ability to access the pool and restaurant at the Lost Iguana was also a huge benefit, and I can't say enough about the relationship between the two. Finally, I have never been treated with such friendly and professional service. The Sangregado staff went out of their way to ensure my family had everything we needed and more. I would give them 6 stars if I could! "
