"Read the listing carefully to decide if this place is right for you. This is not a luxury stay, but it does give a unique and rustic experience. We enjoyed getting a little away from the tourist hotspots and seeing a more authentic side of Costa Rica. The animals made quite a bit of noise during the night, so be aware of that if you are a light sleeper. We stayed 2 nights with our 5 kids, and they had a lot of fun. My kids loved the dogs, playing in the river, and the loft/bunkbeds. The farm...

"This is a wonderful hidden gem, a great place to get away from the city (and the general public!) The view from our room was beautiful, you could see mountains and valleys and every morning the cows came up to our room. They offered a cheese making class, a tour of the farm, and a cooking class! All wth the vest view. The only issue was finding a ride-it was a bit out of the way for uber, so having a rental car may come in handy. All in all, a 10/10 experience "

The area itself is convenient - close to Arenal town and about 45-60 minutes from La Fortuna. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing stay in Costa Rica. "
