4.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (228)
"Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas is a dream destination for those seeking luxury, privacy, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a chilled towel. The property’s hilltop location offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding rainforest. Our villa 14 was thoughtfully designed with a private saltwater plunge pool, open-air shower, and fires that open to the beautiful plunge pool. The on-site restaurant, Sentido Norte,...

Sugar Beach

3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (358)
"We loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel."

Las Catalinas Collection

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (92)
"The view from my room was beautiful! The room was perfect for a couple. I would give it a five stars rating if the bathroom didn’t smell like mold. I told the front desk; they said they would look into it; but nothing was done. In addition, the TV didn’t work on the third day that we were there. They could not fix it 😕 The construction noise started from 07am to 10 pm. There was only one road to get in and out of town. It was very very bumpy! Food was expensive at Las Catalinas and...

Casa Nahua Hotel in Tamarindo

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (55)
"This is a wonderful property to stay at while visiting Tamarindo. It’s a block from the main strip and the beach. It’s set back away from the road so quiet at night. The owner and her staff are very attentive and inquire if one’s needs are being met daily. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tamarindo."
