"House is situated in quiet suburban side street, only a short walk from main walk from where buses to/from Edinburgh city centre regularly. Details regarding check-in and access to premises and room were provided digitally in advance. Property is well appointed and well maintained. Our room was bright, spacious and clean. Function over fuss reflects the decoration and fittings. Breakfast (continental) was freshly prepared to order and very good."

"The front door is a bit quirky (the instructions were good but I was late and tired and took a moment to remember them). The room was spacious and welcoming if a little too warm. The bed was a bit saggy. There are a number of switches which don't seem to do anything. And the room is so tall that heavy (and REALLY good!) curtains on a pole are very hard to manipulate."

"Old but comfortable place, in a very quiet street. I stayed in a standard double room (No.21), which was spacious and clean. Be aware that the heating only comes on in the evening, though. There's private parking, although I arrived and departed by train; Crosshill station is only six or seven minutes' walk away, with regular services to and from the city centre. Although there are no facilities other than a kettle, tea and coffee in the room, there are plenty of shops, cafés and takeaways...

"This reresents excellent valuw. Rooms was very clean, all the facilities you would need. No need to pay double the price for something probably not as good. Will definitely book again next time I visit Edinburgh."
