"They do the basic stuff really well. Don't expect a fancy room with all the trimmings but that's unrealistic at the price. it is decently equipped with the necessities built in a modern way."

"This is the perfect hotel if you are going to be in town for longer than a couple of nights. The kitchens are well-stocked and I loved being able to have food on hand for those late night excursions. There's a Tesco right around the corner. The location of the hotel is fabulous. Quiet off the beaten path a bit, around the corner from Hotenanny and St. Enoch's. Staff are kind and willing to help in whatever way possible. We've stayed at other hotels in Glasgow but this is now a favorite. The bathrooms are upgraded and the shower excellent. I do wish they cleaned the room everyday but that was a minor thing compared to all the benefits. Hightly recommend. "

"Very lovely, modern and new hotel. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, from the lobby, to the lifts, to the rooms themselves. The rooms were a little on the small side but we were fine with it. The location was perfect too, and everything is within walking distance. Other than to get to and from the airport, we didn’t need to take public transport at all. "

"I cannot fault this property at all. We went as a family of four. From check in to check out, everything was flawless. Our family room with a view over the castle was very clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. We had drinks and dinner at the restaurant one evening and Martin was very attentive. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Edinburgh. "

"Great stay for visit to the Playhouse. Walking distance from Waverly station, to St James Quarter and Playhouse. Best location for what we we had planned. Floor 0 takes you to Waverly station avoiding all the traffic lights and longer walk to station. Staff lovely, rooms beautiful. "

"A GREAT option for staying in the Old Town. Super clean hotel and rooms along with a very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and walkable to all Old Town has to offer - tours, bars, restaurants. City bus and sightseeing bus stop is a block away. "
