"This was the most stunning property and run by the most attentive, respectful, welcoming, and warm staff for our stay. We were only here for one night but wished we were here longer. The buses to get to the hotel only stop there a few times a day but this meant the owner knew when guests would arrive and was there to welcome each and everyone of us to the hotel. The moment we jumped off the bus we were greeted and our bags taken inside so himself and his staff could take the most incredible photos of us with the mountain in the background. We were seated in the small sitting area off the reception and given tea or coffee while they checked other guests in so we didn’t have to wait in line. After being checked in they took our bags up to our room for us. We had a beautiful traditional room with the best view. The comfiest room and best sleep of our trip and when we left in the morning and checked out, waiting for our bus, the owner came around once again to take photos one last time and saw us off. While the bus took a while he brought everyone cups of green tea. Could not recommend a hotel more. "

"Very excellent place. The host and hostess are very kind and sweet, and very knowledgeable about the area. They pointed us to some great places to eat and sightsee, and (if it wasn't raining) places to see Mt. Fuji. Also, a really cool park with lots and lots of cherry blossoms and huge bushes full of azalea flowers. They're within easy walking distance of the town, in a very quiet but beautiful neighborhood. Also not far from some really great caves. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back next time we come to Japan. "

The only hard thing is decide if you want to stay inside relaxing in the sauna and jacuzzi or go exploring different view spots of mt. Fuji"

"This is the small hotel that they use the exterior for the Netflix drama series “ Hot Spot”. The interior is much more spacious than what we see in the TV show. It is located in the remote area and it’s inconvenient for shopping, etc. However, it is an advantage for people who want to avoid the hassle of overtourism in the Mt. Fuji area. The room was newly renovated and the bedding was very comfortable. We didn’t eat at their restaurant, but they have a fridge in the room, so we brought our food and had cozy time enjoying the view of Mt.Fuji from our window. "

"This hotel is nice staff are nice the location to see mt Fuji really good good location barbecue place is good but if winter you’re gonna be freezing your going to near of your grill for hot yourself,no outlet at barbecue grill for charging or some reason that electricity needsto use , you can bring here own barbecue to cook in this glamping place they have already things to use for barbecue and you can return no wash it’s ok,and breakfast here like a lunch box type I’m not a fan of bread without toast that’s why don’t know how it’s taste I didn’t eat but if you’re looking for glamping stay most reasonable price compared to other it’s cheaper "

"I highly recommend this home, I would not stay anywhere else if I am able to travel to this area again. This home and the hosts were amazing. When we arrived at the home, the hosts were there to show us around the home, explaining the different rooms and explained the background of the home and its furnishings. It is the most beautiful home, full of unique furniture and furnishings, with plenty of windows to see the Lake. The bedrooms were perfect - plenty of room and very comfortable beds. We were able to use the spa and onsen next door, which was wonderful. Thank you to the hosts for such a perfect stay. "
