"This property was absolutely awesome. Cabin was tastefully decorated for Christmas. This made our stay that much better. Would highly recommend this location for people who don't mind a short gravel road. We have family close by and will reserve this property again. "

"My brother and our families (4 adults, 5 teens) stayed at the Hideaway along with our 2 dogs. Great place! Plenty of comfortable beds for all to have their own space. Living room area and the large dining table was great for playing board games. The dogs (and kids) loved running around in the woods and around the lake. The kitchen is massive, with plenty of room for multiple people to cook and well stocked with every type of pan, utensil or sharp knife you might need! We definitely will put this on our list to return to when the weather is warmer and we can swim in the lake!"

"We went to Carthage for a family member memorial. It was a perfect location as most of the family is in Carthage, instead of having to stay 10 or more miles away. The property was clean, comfortable and parking was good, it was wide enough for us and other renters. Quiet neighborhood, close to the square. We will be staying again when we go back again.
