"Vieques Puerto Rico is BEAUTIFUL and I am so happy we stayed at El Blok. It was our first time visiting the island, so the advice and help the staff gave was very appreciated. Everyone on the island are laid back and ready to help as well. The location across from the beach is a short walk to Sun Bay Beach! Gorgeous! There's a restaurant conveniently placed at El Blok-the food was really good and other places nearby to eat. Across the street and in the area there are UTV rentals, making it easier to get around to explore the island. I had better cell service in Vieques vs. the mainland and there were no problems with WiFi at the hotel. Besides all the amenities the hotel is clean and smells so pretty. They have a beautiful set up in the room I stayed. We hope to return someday soon! "

"Fantastic views! Room needed some basic maintenance/repairs, but it was clean and spacious. No shampoo or hair dryer provided, so bring your own. Nice pool area. There is what looks to be a restaurant on sight, but it was not open during our stay. No lobby area, but nice decks are available to enjoy the views. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Tropic Like It’s Hot. The owners have thought of everything—games, beach chairs, a cooler for day trips, sunscreen, and insect repellant were all very nice to have on hand without having to bring our own or buy it. The home was spacious and perfect for our group of 7. The kitchen was well appointed and while we didn’t really cook much, it was nice to have the amenities for the meals we did have there. We did have some trouble with the gate during our stay. One side never opened with the remote and maintenance wasn’t able to get it fixed before we left as it rained a couple of days (and it needed to be dry for it to work), but we were able to get in and out of the carport fine, just needed to be extra careful backing out. The property is in a neighborhood and not a tourist area, which we preferred. It was very safe and people were friendly. The neighborhood is basically adjacent to the rainforest and we loved that. I know some other reviews complained about the rooster noises, but we loved it! There were ducks, chickens, frogs, cats, dogs, and even a trio of cows walked down the road next to the property one night! We could never figure out how to consistently get warm showers. We looked for instructions but were unable to find them. Maria was very responsive to questions and we appreciated the notes and QR codes around the house with local info. Also appreciated not having a huge checkout “to do” list! Great trip!"

"The Rainforest Inn is in a class all by itself. The location is convenient to El Yunque Rainforest hikes and easy to get to. The accommodations (and fresh-tasty breakfast) are first rate. You are asked for your coffee order conveniently before breakfast so you can enjoy a fresh cup before breakfast outside overloking the lush vegetation and the Atlantic. The owners greet you when you arrive with a tasty welcoming drink and get yoi settled in. A wonderful, helpful staff (shout out to Diane) that is available to answer questions, help with directions and just generally help you feel at home. A yoga room, saltwater pool and a hiking trail just outside you door. Go here. Relax. Hike. Zen Out and prepare yourself for a once in a lifetime stay. "

"This property is great for large groups/families that want a private, quiet, and beautiful setting close to beach, water, and rain forest activities. Many local food options are close by. The staff is very responsive. "

"The property is simply beautiful. About 13 of us stayed at the house for a couple of days before we hosted a wedding. Everyone was impressed with the amenities, the pool, the rooms, the rooftop entertainment space and the breathtaking view. The property manager, Joe as well as the staff, were very helpful and accommodating. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our immediate family and the dining room and kitchen amenities were absolutely perfect. We had our wedding in Saturday followed by a BBQ Pool Party on Sunday. All our families and friends had a great time. Luckily and blessedly it did not rain on my wedding day. So our risky bet worked for us. I could go on and on raving about Casa Bella, but I won’t. If you have a big group and want to have a party, this is the place!!"
