"The hotel was very nice. Super clean and the staff were kind and accommodating. The only issue is that it is surrounded by nothing and the abandoned 92 Expo buildings all look run down. There was construction happening in the stadium so if you are a light sleeper like I am you were woken up weekday mornings by beeping reversing trucks and pounding on concrete. "Host Sara offered another apartment nearby as we were told there was no working wi-fi, but signal at alternative apartment was poor, and a very weak signal could only be obtained in the bedroom. We were given no details of facilities, location, or contact details if there was a problem. Apartment had a separate bedroom but as it was on the ground floor windows couldn't be left open.
