"Some things to consider: Bed cubicles are cozy and private. Building is quiet. Only one bathroom (one shower, one toilet, two sinks) for men. Double that for women, as they are allowed to use the "men" bathroom also. Staff did not speak much English. About 15 minutes walk to Hakata, the closest subway/train station. Payment at the hostel is cash only. Check in required before 8 pm without previous arrangement for late arrival."

"The hostel was in a convenient spot for our time in fukuoka. Check-in and checkout were super easy. My only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable. In general, all of our stays in japan had firmer beda but this bed made it hard to get good sleep. Overall would recommend for location and price but wish the beds were better"

"We were pleasantly surprised by WeBase Hostel. It's many years since we've stayed in a hostel, and this was definitely an improvement on 'the good old days'. Modern, clean, friendly staff, well organised, quiet, nice breakfast snack in the morning. Shared toilets and bathroom were clean. Our basic 2-bunk room was VERY small, but we managed to fit ourselves and packs in there. We aren't likely to pass through Fukuoka again, but would happily stay at WeBase once more."

The facility is clean modern minimalist decor. They have private shower.. and public bath if you want to drop the modesty.. bathrooms are western with Japanese bling .. very clean. Bedding a little hard for my liking tatami mat with some lighter sheets and a blanket you can rent a down comforter. Free wi fi reliable security...
