"A perfect hotel. One of the best we have ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot! This hotel has such beautiful grounds - full of foliage and fairy lights - stunning! Food excellent and always piping hot. Service always spot on, such helpful willing and polite staff. Beautiful room and bathroom - spotlessly clean. Loved the organic sky bar - great drinks and snacks and amazing views over the palace. Had a fabulous meal at Mealea - one of the best meals during our 3 week trip. Used the pool each day, good mixture of sunny and shady spots with great lunch choices served to your lounger. If we ever visit Phnom Penh again we will stay here for certain. "

"Our group had four rooms for a week in December 2024. The hotel accommodated our requests for 1- or 2-beds depending on the room which was great. The beds were very comfortable, and with A/C and black-out curtains, everyone slept very well. The hotel was well staffed and the level of service was good. Breakfast was great, lots of options to try. One request would be to make hand sanitizer more accessible at the breakfast buffet. (No one in our group got sick, just a general recommendation for buffets). The gym facility is beautiful. The spa and hot/cold tubs were a great amenity. Poolside service was nice to have, but a bit slow, and impossible to get a strong cocktail! The location was good because you could walk to a couple cafes or small grocery, or grab a $1-2 tuktuk to the busier areas. Airport transfer provided by the hotel was seamless and so appreciated after 20 hours of travel! Overall, we were looking for a comfortable reliable hotel with amenities and great service on a budget, and this one totally came through for us. "

"We got a two bedroom suite for 6 people. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very spacious. Great water pressure and beds were comfy. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. I highly recommend Hotel Saem Siem Reap."

"We liked the location of the hotel. Very close to the Royal Palace and the national museum. It's off a very busy street so it can have traffic jam and hard to walk around during busy times. However the hotel itself is designed in a way that it insulates itself from the busy streets and noise with beautifully designed pond with koi fish, tropical plants, and a very nice pool. We tried both onsite restaurants and they were both very good. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. The room size was big but the shower and sink area was very small and not very well designed. Shower was small and there is no privacy when someone steps out of the shower. "

"First, I want to start out by saying that Cambodia was amazing and was our favorite of the 4 countries we visited. While our stay wasn’t perfect, it was very good and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The staff was amazing and treated us so kind kindly. Our room was huge, very clean and well appointed. Some things I would do different are that I would have skipped the suggested sunrise tour as you waste so much time in the dark and there was nothing special about it. We also took 1 tour via car (twice as expensive) and the rest in a tuk tuk and highly recommend the tuk tuks. It was our favorite part of our trip. You see so much more and feels more authentic. I would have skipped the spa even though it’s cheap- you get what you pay for. The #1 thing I didn’t expect in all of Cambodia was that you pay for everything in US dollars. It ended up being the most expensive country we visited, but it was still worth it. The majority of the money made is through tourism, and while it wasn’t crazy, expensive, it was definitely more than I was expecting. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this hotel."
