"A nice hotel very convenient for all Oslo has to offer. Close to train station and other transport options. Breakfast was very busy at the weekends and queues were a result. The food could have been much hotter. I would not expect to pay extra to access the pool in a five star hotel. Room service was very quick and the food tasty."

The concierge helped us get round trip tix on the daily Hurtigruten/Havila fjord cruise (part of their Norwegian coastal journey has them come into Alesund in the AM and then go down the fjord and back to Alesund that evening). "Check in was smooth and uneventful until we opened the door to our room only to find that it was occupied. Back to Reception to let them know and they acted immediately and put us in a bigger room. The room was very clean and the mattress was comfortable especially since we had to rise early and catch a 6:30am flight. The restaurant's food was good. The nicest benefit is that the hotel entrance is a 3-5 minute walk to the airport terminal"
