"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. I wish it'd been more authentic and less "fancy". I should also warn that the heat does not and has not worked in the camp in some time. We...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Anamar. The luxury camp experience was above and beyond all expectations. So much has to do with the host / owner Youssef. He responded quickly with communication prior to our arrival and extended all that we could want to enjoy, including the dreamy camel ride and 4X4 drive to visit nomads. The pictures don't do the place justice as the sunset night sky were dreamy. We loved it!"

"Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. Thank you Alí and everyone else for giving us a memorable few days in Africa!"

"Everything was really good. The tends were comfortable and the food was excellent. The only issue I had was that during the night was really cold and there was no heater."

El dueño del campamento me escribió por whatsapp comentandome que al final en el de Zagora no tenían hueco y me pasaron al de Tagounite (60 km mas abajo de Zagora). El campamento está una duna bastante grande, alejado de la carretera a 16 km de Tagounite. Está decorado bastante bien para estar en medio del desierto, tienen agua y electricidad. "We had an amazing 2-night stay at Kam Kam camps. We were welcomed graciously with tea and treats (as is typical in Morocco). The camp grounds were beautiful. Our tent was perfectly comfortable with gorgeously decorated, but still fairly simple as is expected when camping in the desert. Dinner was delicious and you definitely will not go hungry. "This hotel is amazing. The room and swimming pool were spotless, and I appreciated being allowed to check in early. All the staff were welcoming and kind. A special thanks to Mr. Hassan, who arranged activities for us and helped us find a supermarket. The breakfast was delicious, and my kids especially loved the pasta! :) If I visit Merzouga again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you for making our experience so memorable."

"The property is huge as it is an entire apartment , and the beds are comfortable , with the spare bedding for winter. There is also the use of a shared washing maching and a great rooftop to look out from or hang washing.. The front desk is not 24/7 although im sure if you phoned someone would answer, eventually.., The place could really do with a good deep clean and a revamp entirely, as it does have great potential with a few caring touches. "What a wonderful magical place! This is the second camp we have stayed at in Merzouga and this one was a much different experience — private, quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The staff was excellent, attentive to every need. Meals were served one on one, and it was some of the best food we’ve had in all of Morocco. All arrangements were made for whatever we wanted to do (camel rides, quads on the dunes). The tent was super cute and comfortable. Hot water and WiFi are hit or miss, but those shouldn’t be the reasons one comes to the Sahara. This should be a place to unplug, learn some Moroccan/Berber culture, and reconnect. 100 percent recommend! "

"Peaceful and charming place to stay in the middle of Skoura palm villages. Incredibly friendly staff, fresh variety of good food, great facilities in the garden, peaceful and discrete. Loved the silence and view from terrasse. One tip. In communication before arrival, mention the road to take. We followed Google maps and were guided through the very tiny garden roads. The ‘orange’ road is much easier. "
