"Stayed here for 6 days with my 4 year old grandson and we had an amazing time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The breakfast buffet was great with Western options as well as Scandinavian and Continental. My grandson loved the waffle bar. The location was an easy distance to downtown and all of the tour operators we used as well as the Flybus do hotel pick ups and drop offs there right to the door."

"A central location for two common pickup points for tours. The view was great even though the room was a bit old. There seems to have a in-built heater, which heat up the toilet and the floor. "The only reason I wouldn’t stay here again Parking. They have no parking for guest until after 9 pm and it cost you more than trying to park on the street. We had to constant run and feed a meter until we learned how to do it from our phone. "Exeter Hotel is a good choice for solo women travelers as all entrances, elevators etc. are only accessed with a key card. Easy pick up/drop off for day tours directly across the street from the hotel at Bus Stop number 4. The staff is helpful and supportive. I would have liked to have been given a heads up that in winter there may be condensation on the windows and glass doors which can lead to pooling of water. Otherwise it was a great experience."
