"Beautiful house with view of Mt Hood, in affluent neighborhood with great walks in a wooded setting. Nice hot tub (4 place) & small sauna in master bath. A few minutes North out of town means bring what you need or drive to get to a store, etc. Nice place; the best!"

"I rented both houses for my birthday. The houses are a 7 minute walk and 1 minute drive from each other, which I wasn't aware of (it's possible that's hiding in the listing somewhere), but we made it work and had an amazing weekend. Everything else was perfect!"

"The place was just as listed. Kitchen had plenty of supplies. Area was quiet, safe, and close to Main Street of town. Everything was clean and was ready on time. Great communication from owner who made sure everything was satisfactory."

"This property was perfect for our party. We walked downtown for meals and the race. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of four but will accommodate more. The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky. "

"My daughter attended an outdoor camp with a local gym. I needed a place where we could relax in the evening and I could work remotely during the day. The general location was perfect. Easily walkable to everything. It took us about a day to get used to the train traffic. Our Ford Explorer fits in the garage, but exiting the garage took a little effort (I felt like Austin Powers) but it was doable and a safe parking spot far outweighed any challenges. "Nice place with interesting and eclectic decor. Driveway is steep and difficult to park in. Not much outdoor space, but plenty of sleeping options."

"Very nice townhome and views that's in walking distance of central downtown Hood River (coffee shops, restaurants, etc.). This place is good for only adults/older kids due to the # of stairs. Stocked kitchen, bluetooth speaker, and bath towels. If you're sensitive to light, bring eye mask as the sun shines beautifully through the large windows (there are drapes) in the morning. "

"The property was great and as pictured. Overall clean. Lots of firewood provided! Great views. However, there were conflicting instructions online vs the instructions in the house. I tried to message/text the host but never received a response. The garbage cans were supposed to be in the garage but were actually all the way down the end of the road (1/3 mile but uphill on the way back."
