"Loved the views, they were truly amazing. The couch and the master bed were comfortable. Loved that we had access to back-up supplies as needed, and the washer and dryer. We were grateful for that. Conveniently located between Hood River and the Dalles which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The views and comfort compensated for a few things that need to be addressed. Batteries need to be replaced in the remotes, we looked for back-ups and could not find any....

The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky. "

"Ernesto and Marcela’s place was in pristine conditions, their response was always fast and polite, and location couldn’t be better. We will definitely consider coming back to admire the Gorge’s view from their guest house. Our only suggestion is to switch to softer pillows or have an alternative to choose from. Lorena . "

"This was a comfortable place for our mini reunion, not fancy but nice, and not too far from downtown (probably too far for walking). We each got our own bedroom with comfy beds, the living room had plenty of furniture for lounging, and the adequately stocked kitchen was perfect for our needs, not to mention the hospitable basket of snacks. Due to lots of rain we never made it to the hot tub though had looked forward to that. We’d stay here again!"

"It's lovely place with enough space for all of us including a small dachshund. The hardwood floors have the "lived in" look which is nice and cozy. The unique seating in the kitchen, bottles, surfboards gave a wonderful "hang loose" feel. The not so wonderful poop in the yard upon arrival was a shock but not a big thing, especially since we are asked and should clean up after our dog, The biggest issue for us was the driveway. "Our Family - Son, Daughter-in-Law, Grandson, Grandma, Grandpa came from Pennsylvania to visit our son and his fiance that live in Lyle. The house is less than a 5 minute walk from them and is absolutely awesome! There was plenty of room, it was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views are amazing! We would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit."
