"We had a family trip stay for 3 nights. Arrived late at night and was warmly greeted and would have given us food if we needed but we ate on the way. Friendly , helpful staff were excellent all around. Food was good to average but the service top notch! We enjoyed time by the pool was lovely. "The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was very good. However, the room (R5), was a bit worn and tired looking and lacked privacy from the adjacent pool area and the walkway to the other units. The main restaurant street is a 20 min walk away and walking after dark was not recommended. Overall, it was an ok one-night stay. However, we had expected more based on the ratings."

"We stayed one night at the Oakdene Guest House and wished we had stayed for two nights. The owners, Sonia and Daniel, were very welcoming and couldn’t have done anymore for us. Sonia cooks her own bread and cakes for guests. The smell and taste of both was fantastic. There is a swimming pool at the end of the long garden which was a great spot to unwind after a long drive. "Simply wonderful. We had an amazing guide, Greg (“The Postman”, because he always delivered!) who answered all our questions knowledgeably. He was simply exceptional and made our stay! A beautiful reserve, with many beautiful species. We had the three bedroom Lehele Villa and it was perfectly clean, and cleaned twice a day. We didn’t join for lunch but the breakfast and dinner menus had excellent vegan options. We particularly enjoyed the Vegan Eggs Florentine. Thank you so much, would love to visit again."
