"Extremely busy hotel which seems to cater to large foreign tourist groups. Check-in was somewhat challenging. There are machines to scan ones passports to check in. However, the machine wouldn't properly scan our passports. One of the staff directed me to the checkin desk, after which they directed me back to the machine to scan my passport, which again didn't work. So, they directed me back to the checkin desk and we did the procedure the "old fashioned"way. The hotel is clean, but not as clean...

"The room was very small but worked. They provided a lot of extras for the room, such as face wash and toothbrushes. They even provided pajamas!"

"The hotel is very close to the train station and it's easy to walk to many interesting sights such as Higashi Hongan-ji and Teramachi. The room was spacious and clean. Many amenities were available on the main floor and the breakfast buffet every morning was very delicious and had many healthy options. My only dislike was having to wait to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk. I would stay again next time I am in Kyoto 🙂"
