"This is our second stay at this hotel. For our family of four, this hotel is ideal. There is a kitchenette and washer/dryer which allows us to pack lightly since laundry can be done and utilize nearby grocery stores and convenience stores for easy meals. The location is excellent too. "

"This was amazing! We got a free upgrade to the suite which was so big and laundry worked super well. We had a great view of the Tokyo Tower too. Lots of things writhing short walk but still quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Manju at the desk was super helpful with us for sending our luggage. For a Tokyo place we thought this couldn’t be beat! "

"The rooms in Mimaru Tokyo Kinshicho is large by Japanese standards, the location is great as it is near to metro and rail. There's a 24 hour supermarket nearby as well. Highly recommended."

"loved the size and layout of rooms! it is close to public transportation and plenty of walkable dining and shopping options. only downside is there is no lobby staff to help with luggage transport. laundry is not in the room but not a deal breaker. i would stay here again if visiting Ueno area."

"Great value for your money. Near many stores and restaurants. Downside is it will still be a minimum 11 minutes walk to the train station. Also cleaning only available if you stay 7 days or longer. I love the place is so safe. We often go out around 2AM to go to the 24 hour stores nearby and no issues walking around the neighborhood. "

"The room was a good size for our family of 4 and we liked that the toilet, shower and sink were in separate spaces. Had a small kitchenette which was helpful. Staff was friendly and location was good. The only complaint was the washer/dryer combo didn’t work. Spent a lot of time waiting for the clothes not to dry…would not recommend using their laundry. "

"This relatively large apartment style hotel was perfect for our short stay in Tokyo. It is close to several metro stations and a large department store, and there were many restaurants nearby. The in room laundry was nice to have, and the friendly people at the desk were happy to give me extra soap for the machine. After staying in two tiny tiny hotel rooms in Narita and Osaka, staying in this large space was a real treat!"

"The best stay in Tokyo! Spacious room, great location! Super friendly staffs :-) it was awesome place to stay with kids! I would definitely visit this place when I travel Tokyo again! Walkable distance to national art museums, Ueno park and ameyo...market? "

"The pokemon theme room quite impressive although the snorlax pushy looks a bit dirty. The whole room is with pokemon design except the toilet. Around 10mins walk from station, no shelter. "

"Our stay was great. The room and linens were clean, with 2 double beds, they were firm, I believe most are in Japan. Pillows were good size, I have neck problems so I usually travel with my own. They were not to large, or heavy. In the states I think most are annoyingly large, definitely creating a kink in the neck. So I appreciated this maybe more than some would. "We could not be happier with our stay. It was perfect for our family of 5. Amenities were help yourself in the lobby. A kind attendant was always there for any assistance which was much appreciated. We arrive earlier than our check in time and they were able to store our bags. We had three comfortable beds and two futon for the tatami room. "Booked a two bedroom Japanese suite for 6 adults and it was pleasantly spacious enough to accommodate. My only feedback would be that the kitchen is quite small, however I believe that the area that would have been utilised for the kitchen has been allocated to the tatami room. "Love the hotel, really comfortable bed, great shower, a good variety of food items for breakfast. We were there for 12 nights and had a wonderful stay. It’s across from Tsukiji fish market and outer markets. Directly across is bus stop for 5-1, 5-2 and 4 bus that goes into downtown Ginza. Subway stop is 5-7 minute walk. very convenient. I would stay there again."

"This was a clean, simple room that was great as a landing spot after full days of walking around Tokyo. It is conveniently located next to a subway stop, which made getting back from anywhere in the city easy. For folks interested in Golden Gai, it is also a very short walk to there. It felt safe, and the staff were extremely helpful and nice. The table with bathroom items was always well stocked and had great quality items (that hair conditioner!!). Breakfast was a good mix of Japanese foods and Western breakfast items. The staff in the restaurant where breakfast was served were also very helpful and good at keeping things clean and reatocked. The room size was small but manageable, which we expected (we did get the queen bed, which was comfortable and worth the slightly less space). We were happy with our stay and appreciate the staff at this hotel very much!"
