"Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more…"

"The property was lovely - clean and spacious. Very nicely maintained with some fun wall decor throughout the house. Access was a little challenging up a spiral staircase although this was clearly stated at booking. Due to this, not advisable for elderly/frail people."

"The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property."

"Great location. Lovely accommodation, with all bedrooms great size, lounge large and bright, and a massive dining table. Kitchen had everything you could need, and more crocks than seen anywhere else. All very clean and tidy. A very comfortable home from home for a family holiday including toddlers and dogs. Would definitely think about going back. Our first time to the Salcombe area, which we really enjoyed, both Salcombe and the spectacular surrounding coastline and villages."

"Spacious, character, stone built property with a generous garden and sea views. Cool inside during hot weather which was a bonus. Comfortable general areas. Parking for a van plus 2 cars. Quiet location. Steps down to the kitchen are not ideal. Fish pond could be a risk. Suited us very well. A return visit. Highly recommend. So handy for Bantham Beach and for relaxing in the evening."

"Very spacious, well resourced property. Comfortable for a large family gathering and providing a home from home. Disappointing to find that bbqs were not allowed. Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. It's position on the South West Coast path meant access to some lovely walks. We were disappointed to find a large caravan park opposite which wasn't mentioned in the property details and the bin...

"Property is beautiful and accommodated 16 of us. Only issues- no crib or high chair upon arrival; however this was resolved fairly quickly. Distances to Dartmouth and coves, particularly walking, were longer and more difficult than advertised."

We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! "We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. The kids loved the cereal selection and I adored the nespresso every morning on the quiet deck. The weather wasn't great but that didn't matter, it was a short walk to catch the ferry to the Barbican and from there we visited mount edgecombe and went on boat tours. The bridge...
