"We had a wonderful time at Ophelia's Villa. This was our very first trip to Belize and it did not disappoint. Heather, Kevin and our Ophelia's Villa hosts were extremely responsive and very helpful whenever we needed recommendations - they are excellent hosts. "We stayed a week at New Dawn - plenty of room for 3 couples. The fabulous pool is the best part of the home and the beach and grounds are lovely. Be aware that the water off the beach is not clear like you might expect at a tropical beachside unit. We did have a lot of rain, but I don’t think that’s the reason. "We had the most incredible week in Placencia staying at the Island Breeze Villa. The management company, Gecko Vacation Rentals, saw to our every need and we could not have been more impressed with the house and service we received. The house itself was perfect for our group of 9 adults (with 2 adults sharing the bunk room, wouldn't recommend it for more adults than that) - there were tons of areas to spread and hang out, with the beach/volleyball court in the yard and patio at ground level,...

"All of the staff here are friendly and helpful as could be. The AC in the room worked great (and was quite necessary with the heat) and the fan on the terrace was a nice feature as well. Some people don't like the noise from the Barefoot Bar next door, but with the AC on at night we could barely hear anything from there. Plus, we go to the Barefoot every night anyway so being within easy stumbling distance was nice. The facilities are in need of some repair. For instance, the water heater was...

"Like any first time visitors, we researched and questioned every detail about our trip to Belize. We finally happened upon and settled on booking with Ceiba. WHAT A BLESSING! They UNDERSTAND customer service! Everyone there made us feel welcome. Efi went above and beyond with scheduling, John was the most outgoing bartender, the property was meticulous. "Hopkins Bay Resort is an exquisite property, one of the finest we have enjoyed in our travels. From check-in to departure, the staff elevated every experience. Rooms are beautiful, the setting breathtaking, the facilities and grounds wonderful, the dining a real pleasure. From our greeting by the ladies at the front desk and Cass at our welcome, to King and Amalda at the restaurant, everyone and everything about this resort makes us want to return again and again. "

Serene beach stay

"Awesome location on a pretty beach with surreal sunrises and moonrises. The location is quiet and restful. Our room was very practical with a small fridge, drinking water, and A/C.The shower was tiny with dismal water pressure. Breakfast was perfect for us. It consisted of some sweet bread, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and coffee with a tropical breeze and a wonderful view. We enjoyed the beach and took advantage of the free use of a kayak. The pool area was peaceful and lovely. The property manager, Valesca, epitomized great service. She went out of her way to make sure our needs were met and made us feel at home. We checked out this morning and I already miss it. "
