"My wife, friends, and pups loved our stay at this mountain getaway. It's in a great section of Jay, NY, and sits smack-center of a large property so you feel hidden away from the neighbors while still having access to the local amenities (walking trails, pavilion, etc). The home has a great layout, and NO spiral staircase like many of these A-frame designs (which our pups appreciated). The hot tub was great for 4 people, and the firepit (and backyard in general) was awesome for stargazing...

"Looked for somewhere close to SUNY Plattsburgh to come in to visit our student at college, mainly to bring her dogs to see her, took a chance on the Blueberry Cottage and wasn’t disappointed. The location on the lake was beautiful. Was a little chilly when we went so we couldn’t really enjoy the beach or firepit, but I bet in the summer it would be amazing. "

"It's the cutest cabin at a very nice location. Right next to whiteface mountain and riddled with so many hiking trails. After you check in and you enter the cabin the hosts have this folder filled with so many recommendations on restaurants and trails and attractions which I have used throughout my entire stay. My favorite restaurant was smoked signals. If you love BBQ food definitely need to check them out during your stay. The hosts have two cabins to rent from and the old crow cabin was...

Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. "Overall a very nice space, comfortable and clean. I would stay there again. Only complaint was being accused of having a pet there because the cleaning person found a shirt with hair on it. I was sent an invoice immediately for an extra cleaning fee without even asking first. We were a work crew in the area only staying there to eat and sleep, definitely no space for pets. We did get this cleared up and they said I didn't have to pay the fee."
