I’m pretty sure I had the worst room at the hotel. Right beside the elevator and coffee area, Tons of noise at 4am. But hey, everything was fine. Not great just fine. And sometimes fine is all you need.

The Hotel Vermont is fine. Not great not bad either. I don’t think there are a ton of hotels in Burlington so they have a captive market without much competition. Staff was friendly. Rooms are fine. A little pricy for what they are. It’s not a boutique hotel. Lots of rooms next to a parking garage. Close to the Main Street downtown which is very touristy and overpriced. I would dine elsewhere.

Facilities are showing age (e.g. no plug-in USB or USB-C ports; but clean and homey atmosphere. HOWEVER- even though there are excellent coffe/espresso machines on every floor, the coffe was horrible; even the stuff we paid for at the restaurant. I think you need to reconsider your coffee bean vendor selection. We are not that picky; but we would have to admit that it was the worst coffee we have ever tasted, and we have been around.....

Hotel employees were gracious, loved the classy artful vibe of this hotel, great restaurant without having to leave and find a meal. A bit pricey. But so is all the hotels in this area. Well worth the price.

It’s disappointing that they aren’t providing daily house keeping to each room. It’s by request only which is a cop out in my opinion. It’s lazy and for the price point of their hotel, superior service should be superior quality. Covid happened - they realized the saved a TONNE of money by not providing it and know to some people it’s the “norm” now, I’m here to say it’s disappointing you have to ask/request this service. I was also surprised there was no pool or hot tub or sauna and no robes in the rooms to use. Again for the price tag, it’s to be expected. Overall clean, beautiful rooms but the amenities and service could improve.
