"The house was exactly as it was listed. Very homey and comfortable. We did have trouble finding the house at first as we couldn’t see the house number very easily, but the gentleman working on the house next door was super friendly and helpful. The house was just a 10 minute walk to Main St which was very convenient. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lake Placid!"

"Wow! This property was perfect for our fall family trip. Its location was off the beaten path but close enough to town to give us easy access to activities. We were impressed by the amount of water frontage. We had extraordinary weather for October and were able to fish and use the provided canoe. Our host, Alan, was easy to contact and responsive to our questions/needs before, during, and after our stay. We are so happy to have found this place!"

"Perfect house ! Everything you could want. Next time we will ask hockey team members to join us. Lots of bedrooms. Games for the kids. Obviously the hot tub is a bonus!"

"• No response from host when contacted. • No msg from host about keys, rules or wifi information. It took us a while to figure out where wifi was. • It was dark & difficult to see but we managed to find the key. • The place itself was very clean but did smell musty. • There was no dish soap & we didn't dirty enough dishes to warrant using the dishwasher. • Kitchen was very well equipped to cook a big meal. • This place has a lot of potential however it felt cold & sparse. "I traveled solo was a great place to stay. The studio apartment was perfect for me. enjoyed the swings and fire pit outside was nice place to relax and read . Town is walkable distance and there's a grocery store right across the way . check in at other location was easy and gentleman was helpful and polite."
